Dinar (Electrum, 19 mm, 2.94 g, 4 h), A mule with an old die, mint effaced (possibly Herat), date off flan. ‘Allāh / Muḥammad rasūl / al-sulṭān / al-muʿaẓẓam Muḥammad / ibn Malikshāh’ (‘Muhammad is the messenger of Allah. The great sultan Muhammad son of Malikshah’ in Arabic); mint and date formula in the inner margin, of which only ‘bism Allāh ḍuriba hādhā al-dīnār …’ (‘In the name of Allah. This dinar was struck …’ in Arabic) is legible. Rev. Within a circular border of two dragons,, ‘naṣr min Allāh / Muḥammad rasūl / Allāh al-sulṭān / al-muʿaẓẓam Muḥammad / ibn Malikshāh / ʿadl’ (‘Help is from Allah. Muhammad is the messenger of Allah.
